An attractive smile requires both beautiful teeth and good-looking gums. Crowns and veneers can improve the appearance of teeth, but discolored gums, or gums with dark patches, can mar the beauty of a smile no matter how perfect the teeth and crowns. In most instances, discolored gums are entirely healthy, but they do pose a major aesthetic problem, especially for women.

Until the 1990s, dentists could do little to improve the appearance of your gums. Then I developed unique procedures that can remove dark blotches and create pleasant-looking pink gums.
My technique is relatively simple, and can be performed in my office in a minimal amount of time. It requires either no surgery or only minor surgery, depending on the degree of discoloration of the gums. You will feel no pain, and no (or only minor) discomfort. Of course, before treating any patient, I examine the gums to make sure that they are healthy.
You will have no problems following the treatment. You will be able to talk and eat normally without trouble.
The International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry published my methods in an article more than ten years ago. Since then, I have treated thousands of patients, including celebrities, of all races and ethnicities, with astonishingly rewarding results.
